Spring Break

First, a HUGE apology! I’m sorry that I haven’t been posting lately– I know a lot of our friends have been checking this site and are probably starting to wonder why they bother 🙂 since there’s nothing new in weeks. I should have known that the transition back to work would leave me with way less time for the computer… and since Chris is working in Gainesville and has the laptop up there, it’s been hard to find even a few moments since I can’t multitask too well from the office. So that’s that. I really am sorry, and if you’re still with us, then thanks for hanging in there. 😉 I’m working on getting photos and updates online today and tomorrow, and I will try to be better over the next few months!

Next, to update… My mom and dad drove down here on March 16th, and after a too-brief visit my dad returned to their home alone. Mom stayed to take care of Jonas while I was back at work and Chris was out of town. The first day back was hard, but knowing that he was in such loving, capable hands made it bearable. They have been having a blast together! Every day they take a walk around the lake (as just a small portion of Grandma’s daily 6 miles!) and have tummy time, and lots of bonding over bottles of milk.

We are still in the process of apartment-hunting for our move to Nashville. I’ll post when we find a place! 😉

Now, what everyone REALLY wants: the pictures!

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
