Trippin’ Out

Dude, I am, like, so excited. We are going to, like, load up the car? With everything the baby owns? And, like, DRIVE FOR EIGHT HOURS.

I know, man…. it’s just crazy like that.

But, it is going to so totally ROCK when we get there, because we’re, like, going to Midway! Woo-hoo!!! Wild! Tubular! The city that never sleeps, right!?

Okay, seriously: we’re loading up on Thursday and heading down to my parents’ house. It’s a long drive (blech!) but I’m praying hard that Jonas will be nice-and-sleepy. 😉 My dad is taking the day off from work on Friday to hang out with us, and Saturday we’re going to go shopping, and Sunday we get to hear my dad preach in his new church (and Dad & I are going to sing a duet), and Monday we’re going to hang out, and then we’ll drive back Tuesday. Or Wednesday. I haven’t decided yet.

Chris is on call – this week is a tough one, he is on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So it’s a good time for me to be away, since it’s not like I’m missing out on QT with him or anything 😉

Pictures when I get back! Promise!
