In Remembrance

To the veterans in our family (Leo Maxwell, Joseph Fifer, Jud Maxwell, Cheryl (Fifer) Maxwell, Greg Markey, Amanda Markey, & Stephen Williamson I) and the veterans we know and love, and the veterans we never had a chance to meet:

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for putting the big ideals of God, country, family, and freedom above the personal inconveniences. Thank you for making our world a safer and a better place. Thank you for fighting on foreign soil and keeping the fights from our shores. Thank you for ending the reign of horrible men. Thank you for spreading democracy and stopping Communism. Thank you for all that you have done.

May we never forget. May we never stop supporting our troops who are currently serving at home and abroad. May we send the message to our children that the Armed Forces are worth it – they are an honorable, character-building career choice that benefits all of us. May we always hold dear the values that have shaped our country, and that have made it great.
God Bless America.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
