Confession

Okay, it’s time to come clean. Here’s the real reason I’ve been lazy slacking off sleeping instead of blogging getting so behind around here.

I’m 8 weeks pregnant – due in early January. And this baby? Already TOTALLY different from Jonas – I’m pukey around the clock, eating like a horse, and exhausted beyond all reason. However, all those symptoms are reassuring that my hormones are working hard; and today’s ultrasound was wonderful confirmation that this is a healthy pregnancy – baby is measuring two days ahead, so growing well, and his/her heartbeat was thumping along at 167 bpm. All is well, praise the Lord.

Time for more ginger and crackers for me. I swear, I have great intentions of posting my updates, pictures, and video clips — but it will have to wait just a little bit longer.

  3. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you, Chris and Jonas. I know Jonas will be a great big brother. I have been checking your page almost every day for updates. This update is spectacular. And just a little word from this mommy – my pregnancies where I was that sick and stayed tired in the first trimester were all the ones when I had my girls. I didn’t get really sick when I was carrying Christian. Remember to get rest when you can and again Congratulations!

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
